Hotly-tipped Melbourne songwriter Vance Joy has dropped the video for From Afar, the first under the new Liberation banner.

Blissfully capturing the traditional inter-family-get together, the video catches you off guard with its slight anguish that highlights Joy's mournful somber emotions.

Almost exactly a month ago Joy was snapped up by the Libertaion Music label and all accounts are indicating that it'll be a The Rubens-esque year for the youngster.
