Tia Gostelow Joins Brisbane Music Royalty After Winning The Triffid's Album Of The Year

North Queensland artist Tia Gostelow has been revealed as the winner of The Triffid's publicly voted Album Of The Year for 2018-19.

Presented at the venue's fifth birthday celebrations, and hosted on theMusic.com.au, the win for 2018's Thick Skin means Gostelow has been immortalised on The Triffid's band wall alongside Brisbane music royalty including The Go-Betweens, The Saints, Powderfinger, Violent Soho and more. 

Other albums nominated included Amy Shark's Love Monster, Eves Karydas' summerskin, Deep Space by Cheap Fakes and Emma Louise's Lilac Everything.


"Thank you so much to everyone who voted, this is so special to me," Gostelow wrote on Instagram.
