New York label Plus One Music have taken the Melbourne duo on.

Today is the official worldwide release date for Work Around It, the new single from Melbourne duo Them Swoops and it sees them take their next big step on the road to, well, wherever the hell it is they want to be going.

The band release the song through Plus One Music, a New York-based label who have released material by bands like The Morning Benders and The Postelles in the past and handle management for those bands as well as Adelaide's Atlas Genius, to name but a few.

The song itself, a crisp little slice of upbeat indie fare, was mixed by Mark Needham (who has worked with the likes of The Killers and Bloc Party) and certainly cuts through with its slick freshness from go to whoa.Make sure you hold out for the bridge, it's a cracker.
