The Xx & Warpaint Are Playing A Surprise Free Show Tonight With Jamie xx

Hold onto your hats, Brisbane, because The xx and Warpaint are putting on an extra special performance tonight (17 January) after their Riverstage gig.

As confirmed to The Music by the venue, Jamie xx, Romy Madley Croft and Warpaint’s Aussie born drummer Stella Mozgawa are all set to make DJ appearances at Fortitude Valley’s Laruche.

“The band just wants to do an awesome cool thing in an intimate venue,” a spokesperson for Laruche said.

The best part of it all is that entry is totally free but venue operators warned that it's gonna fill up quick.

All the action is set to kick off from 10:30pm.
