He's more impressed by freestyle

More The Tongue More The Tongue

The Tongue honed his MC skills by participating in freestyle rap battles when he was trying to get his start in the industry. So what does the rapper think about the pre-written battles that some of his fellow Oz hip-hoppers have taken part in?

"I don't like them as much as freestyle battles," he admitted in the latest episode of The Lulu Review, "because I think it's always more impressive when someone's being spontaneous."

The rapper made a name for himself winning those freestyle raps, but he made sure to get out of that game before he overstayed his welcome.

"I'm a big fan of boxing and even the great champs, most of them fight for too long," he explained. "It gets to a certain point where it's like what, you proved everything you can, what else is there to do."
