The Sword Announce First Ever Headline Australian Tour
With some huge supports.
In support of their fifth studio album High Country, US heavy metal act The Sword have announced their return to Australia next year for a string of headline shows.
Though they've toured the country a number of times since their inception in 2003, the new shows will be the Texas-founded group's first ever headlining tour and they will be joined on the road by Melbourne outfit Clowns, fellow hometown band American Sharks and more.
The tour kicks off in Perth on 19 February, followed by stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The Sword will also perform two additional dates in Wellington and Auckland in New Zealand.

High Country, released in August, is the band's fifth studio album and it peaked at #4 on the US Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart upon its release.
