More The Pretty Littles More The Pretty Littles

Stalwart Aussie label Caroline Australia has announced Melbourne indie-rock outfit The Pretty Littles as their newest signing as the band prepares for the September release of their third studio album, Soft Rock For The Anxious.

The band has already teased the full-length's expected delights by way of energetic singles Pride and Sleeping In Water, both of which have garnered exceedingly warm reviews across the board since making their way through fans and critics' ears over the past little while. Their new label home already counts under their Australian purview the likes of Marlon Williams, Mac DeMarco, Highasakite, Iggy Pop, St Vincent and more, putting them in darn fine company indeed as they look towards a busy next few months.

It's not just the release of their LP on The Pretty Littles' horizon, after all; following a few weeks supporting The Delta Riggs, the band will make their way around the east and south of the country on a ten-date tour in support of the new work, kicking off with a festival slot at Kennedys Creek Music Festival on Saturday 22 October, and rolling through Ballarat, Melbourne, Wollongong, Manly, Sydney, Adelaide, Warrnambool, Byron Bay and Brisbane, where they close out at The Bearded Lady just under a month later.

You won't have to wait so long to swathe yourself in The Pretty Littles' warm blanket of indie-rock goodness, however — well before the tour, with enough time for you to learn the words and everything, Soft Rock For The Anxious will be released on Friday 9 September.
