Featuring Arj Barker, Ross Noble, Stephen K Amos and more!

Knock, knock! Who's there? The first Sydney Comedy Festival line-up and it's dishing up a whole barrel of laughs for its 15th birthday celebrations sans knock knock jokes.

Leading the festival is a stack of international heavyweights including Arj Barker, Ross Noble, Stephen K Amos, Jimeoin, Daniel Sloss, Georgie Carroll and Melanie Bracewell. Over on the local front we've got Nazeem Hussain, Joel Creasey, Akmal, Demi Lardner, Tahir and The Stevenson Experience for guaranteed belly laughs.

Speaking about the line-up, Festival Director Jorge Menidis said, “We are pretty chuffed with our first announcement and can’t wait to tell you about the rest!”

The full program doesn't drop until February but with a teaser like that, we're excited for 2019. The fest runs from 22 April until 19 May. Tickets for the announced shows go on sale this Friday.
