Perth live music hotspot Badlands Bar proved to be a worthy mini-festival venue after last month’s inaugural City Limits Festival, and now the two inside rooms will be utilised to host another special event that sees The Black Dahlia Murder’s previously announced gig expand.

The Michigan-based melodic death metal band are set to take over the venue’s mainroom in May, alongside The Faceless, Putrid Pile, Whoretopsy and Unravel – a show that now welcomes a handful of comedians in the side venue (Hen House Live) and a number of food trucks in the car park.

With Soundworks Touring’s Brad Wesson on MC duties, comedians Sean Conway, Qld metaller Hayden Douglas (formerly of Enlightened By Darkness) and Cameron McLaren join the line-up.
