Why not go out with a band?!

More The Beards More The Beards
The Beards are dreading their goodbye, it seems, having announced fourteen extra dates to their highly sought after upcoming 2016 farewell tour today. The tour already features at least one show in every Australian state and territory.

The new dates for the tour include shows in Gove, Clare Valley, Cronulla, Katoomba, Wollongong, Penrith, Wallaroo, Alice Springs, Belgrave, Canberra, Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Traralgon.

Fittingly enough, the band’s last ever show will take place in their hometown of Adelaide at The Governor Hindmarsh on 28 October, marking the end of a hairy career that began in that very same city back in 2005. Since then, The Beards have entertained fans with songs about one single topic, releasing five albums of beard-related material that has seen them breakthrough onto the international stage.

The band will be showcasing their catalogue of songs with two loaded sets at each show. The shock announcement of the band’s break-up and retirement from touring came back in early December last year - much to the dismay of their beard-loving followers — though last week the band took to Facebook to explain their disbanding.
