"It's going to be cool to a part of the Future Classic family."

Sydney-based musician and touring member of The Avalanches, Jonti has officially signed to esteemed Australian electronic label Future Classic.

Jonti joins the likes of some big Australian names on the roster including Flume, Jagwar Ma and Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker).

Jonti says of the signing, "It's going to be cool to a part of the Future Classic family. I'm looking forward to having a team in Sydney that I can work with directly on bringing my music to life."

The signing news comes with the release of the new single Scrood, Jonti's first solo release in five years. The producer, who has recorded with the likes of Mark Ronson, Gotye and Warpaint, has this time teamed up with Steve Lacy, guitarist of Los Angeles R&B act The Internet for the new track — the product of a late night jam session last year.
