It's just a matter of time.

More Michael Buble More Michael Buble

A Star Is Born has been a global box office hit, nabbed a number of Oscar nominations and the film soundtrack has held #1 for the past seven weeks but Michael Bublé is on the way to put a stop to that... at least, for a couple of weeks.

The Canadian crooner's 2011 Christmas album has soared up the ARIA Albums chart in the last month and according to midweek predictions it will finally land inside the top three and could challenge for the #1 spot.

The holiday LP has charted at #1 in Australia every year since its release; an achievement no other album has achieved as many times in the ARIA era (1983-present).

Bublé recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show to discuss the feat; check it out below.

Other albums debuting on the chart this week include XXXTentacion's Skins (top five), Coldplay's Live In Buenos Aires (top ten), The Carpenters' Carpenters With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (top 25), Ice Cube's Everythang's Corrupt and Van Morrison's The Prophet Speaks.

Elsewhere, no new tracks are debuting on the Singles chart this week, which should help Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next clinch #1 for a fifth-straight week.

Expect to also see US songwriter Ava Max's Sweet But Psycho jump inside the top five.
