After six long years, Avril Lavigne finally released a new album and Australia is clearly excited about it. 

According to midweek figures, the Canadian singer's sixth studio album, Head Above Water, is predicted to debut at the pointy end of the ARIA Albums chart and should land comfortably inside the top ten. 

Lavinge's record will compete for the week's highest debut against Florida Georgia Line's Can't Say I Ain't Country and The Cat Empire's Stolen Diamonds, which are also expected to chart in the top ten.

Other album debuts this week include Methyl Ethel's Triage (top 15), Dear Seattle's Don't Let Go (top 20), Millencolin's SOS (top 25), Drake's 2009-released mixtape So Far Gone (which hit streaming services for the first time to mark the tenth anniversary, top 30) and KISS' Kissworld - The Best Of KISS (top 40).

Over on the Singles chart, Grande is again expected to top the list with 7 Rings (gunning for five weeks straight atop the list) or Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored, which debuted at #2 last week.

New entries this week include Cardi B & Bruno Mars' Please Me (top 25), Zedd & Katy Perry's 365 (top 30), YUNGBLUD & Halsey's 11 Minutes featuring Travis Barker (top 40) and George Ezra's Hold My Girl (top 50).
