Sydney Trio Bloods Join Palmary Management Roster

Sydney garage-punk three-piece Bloods are capping off 2016 with the news that they have joined the growing group of management clients for blossoming company Palmary, the brainchild of industry veteran Lauren Poulter.

The new deal follows previous achievements in the five-year-old band's CV such as their international publishing deal with legendary indie label Sub Pop, signed mid-last year, as well as their 2013 signing to Shock Records, which came in the lead-up to their debut EP, Golden Fang.

Their recent history has been further distinguished by high-profile support slots for venerated outfits such as Sleater-Kinney and Veruca Salt, as well as showcasing at SXSW in 2015.

Since that inaugural extended player, the band have steadily built on those early successes to have released their well-received first full-length, Work It Out, back in 2014, and preceded their publishing hook-up with Sub Pop by signing a US label deal with American indie Minty Fresh Records.

Their new management deal sees them join an existing cabal of artists that includes Teeth & Tongue, DARTS, and Le Pie. The group of acts benefit from Poulter's previous experience in the music industry as a publicist and artist liaison, as well as her dabblings in promotion with her monthly 'Innocuous' events.

Poulter was also named one of this year's recipients of the John Butler-driven The Seed Management Fund, which saw her join a three-day workshop to further sharpen her skills. So, fear not — these bands are in good hands.

Bloods' most recent release to date is August's Bring My Walls Down. We premiered the lyric video for the track back in September, but you can give it a listen below for good measure.

The track is the first preview of what's to come from Bloods' eagerly awaited sophomore full-length, boasting dreamy vocal lines and fuzzy sunshine galore courtesy of producer Shane Stoneback (Sleigh Bells/M.I.A/Fucked Up).
