More Spencer P Jones More Spencer P Jones

Since the news that Spencer P Jones, aka The Axeman, has been battling with serious illness, public fundraisers and benefit gigs have popped up all around the country in support.

Sydney's music community is the latest to get in the beloved rocker's corner, with several acts rallying together to throw The Axeman's Benefit, 24 June at Factory Theatre.

Headlining a heavyweight bill is Died Pretty with Jones' old band The Johnnys (featuring guest vocalists), Hoodoo Gurus, garage up-starts Straight Arrows and psych-punk vets Young Docteurs.

Tickets are available on Factory Theatre's event page.
