Plus live sets from Polish Club and Nick Nuisance & The Delinquents.

It's about that time, ay chaps? Melbourne has had its turn, but now it's Sydney's chance to don the team colours and get around the Reclink Community Cup

In an epic match up of musos (Walers) versus the media (Sailors), Leader of the Opposition, Anthony Albanese, has also confirmed he will be taking to the field in a Walers jersey once again as they attempt to "keep the cup out of the hands of the Sailors for another year".

This year's match will be played at Henson Park, Marrickville on Sunday 11 August with live sets from Polish Club and Nick Nuisance & The Delinquents if sport isn't really your thing.

"Each of our Community Cup events around the nation capture the spirit of the event that people love; mateship, fun, awesome music, and above average grassroots footy – what more can you ask for in one incredible day?" John Ballis, CEO of Reclink Australia, said earlier in the year.

Reclink Australia provides specialist sport, recreation and arts programs for at-risk youth, people with mental illness or disability, people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, and those facing alcohol, gambling and substance addictions. All funds raised from the event will go directly to the foundation.
