Following a controversial interview on triple j Hack last night, Sticky Fingers have today announced a world tour, which will include a stop in their hometown of Sydney. 

The band have also released new single, Kick On, to coincide with the June tour, which will see them perform in the US, UK, Mexico Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand and Indonesia.

Sticky Fingers were criticised in their interview with Tom Tilley on Thursday night when the host asked frontman Dylan Frost about previous accusations made against him.

"… In the past… violence in my past under the influence, I guess, you know, fucking boys will be boys, you know?" Frost said.

"That's not what I'm here to promote, I'm here to promote peace and love, you know what I mean?"

"What did you mean when you just said 'boys will be boys'?" pressed Tilley at the end of the comment.

"Shit happens, man," responded Frost. "But aren't you saying you're sorry for what's happened?" followed Tilley.

"Yeah, I am. I am sorry."

"'Shit happens' sounds like you don't really care?" said Tilley. 

"Nah, I do care mate, I do. I just find it hard to talk about this stuff, you know?"
