Spilt Milk has dropped a bombshell announcement that is sure to bring major excitement to the music community: British-Australian pop sensation RUEL is set to join the already stellar lineup.

In a last-minute shake-up, the Don't Tell Me singer stepped in to fill the void left by US singer David Kushner, who pulled out of his appearances at Spilt Milk Festival and accompanying Australian headline tour dates, citing “unforeseen circumstances” for the cancellations.

Posting a cheeky snap to Instagram, RUEL ( (full name Ruel Vincent van Dijk) captioned a snap of himself with a milk moustache saying, “call me the milk man 🥛 jumping on the @spiltmilk_au lineup for 4 fun shows around aus, see you there xx”

With the festival just around the corner, Spilt Milk has also unveiled the much-anticipated set times and event information for all locations.

In a bid to enhance the festival experience, organisers have launched the official Spilt Milk Festival App.

The app is a treasure trove of features, including a personal planner, set times schedule, and essential event day information. It's a one-stop shop for attendees to plan their day to the beat and ensure they don't miss a moment of the action.

The news of RUEL joining the Spilt Milk lineup comes after festival organisers posted a statement on November 2, writing on Instagram, “We found out this morning that David Kushner has unfortunately had to cancel his entire Australian Tour. We’re prioritising finding an act to replace him but wanted to let you all know as soon as we heard. Will keep you updated.”

Sharing a post of his own, just minutes later, Kushner wrote, “Due to unforeseen circumstances— I regrettably have to cancel my upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour. You all mean so much to me, and I cannot wait to see you in the foreseeable future.”
