From the legends at Southbound

In a heartwarming show of support for those battling the bushfires in Western Australia, UK electronic torchbearers Disclosure, along with indie rockers Bloc Party and WA natives Birds Of Tokyo have agreed to head up a special benefit show in the wake of yesterday's Southbound Festival cancellation.

The Southbound headliners (with Diclosure playing a DJ set) will be joined by others, still to be announced, in a show tomorrow at HBF Stadium in Perth, with 100% of the net proceeds donated to those affected by the bushfires in the south west.

The good folks at Southbound have also been donating excess food from the festival to affected families — their catering partner Ultimo Catering & Events have donated over 2,300 meals and loads of stock from Ice Break and Red Bull.

Ticketing partner Moshtix are also collaborating with Southbound to create a way for punters to donate their ticket refund (or any nominated amount) to the cause if they wish, with more information coming soon.
