Slowly Slowly will present and headline the inaugural Easylover one-day mini music festival on Saturday, 10 June 2023.

Taking place at Northcote Theatre, the stacked line-up includes Slowly Slowly, Yours Truly, Between You & Me, Bakers Eddy, Friends Of Friends, OK Hotel, with more to be announced. Tickets are on sale now - buy them here.

The Melbourne group have also shared a music video for God, which comes from Slowly Slowly's impressive new album, Daisy Chain. The clip features a cameo from one of Australia's most-loved rock musicians, Tim Rogers from You Am I.

"This song has been a constantly evolving piece of work for me that still continues. It started as a curious walk through what it means to subscribe to doctrine and evolved into an appreciation for both sides of the coin," Ben Stewart, vocalist for Slowly Slowly, revealed.

"It’s the ultimate question, and I shed no light that hasn’t been shone across the topic well before me, but it’s something we all share - the same question. Against the backdrop of losing family to cancer, questions I felt were asked of me, by me, almost as premonitions. It’s been a difficult but, at the same time, helpful journey and this song is my journaling process. Tim brought it to life on screen; I can’t thank him enough."

Slowly Slowly announced their Daisy Chain tour last month and sold out their Melbourne show at the Forum within two weeks. The mammoth tour will find the band touring across the country with special guests Turnover (USA) and Between You & Me, plus support from CLEWS in Brisbane and Melbourne and Hevenshe in Sydney.

The gigs begin in Perth on Friday, 5 May, at the Magnet House (with the support acts TBA) before heading across to Brisbane on Thursday, 25 May, at the Tivoli Theatre, Melbourne's Forum on Friday, 26 May, before finishing up in Sydney on Saturday 27 May at the Roundhouse.

Daisy Chain follows on from 2020's Race Car Blues and 2021's Race Car Blues 2. The Melbourne rockers' latest album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart and received glowing praise everywhere, from critics to fans alike.
