More Sleep Token More Sleep Token

Sleep Token, the masked anonymous alternative metal collective led by the mysterious vocalist known as Vessel, had their Sydney show disrupted on Saturday night (29 April), when a fan ripped out a noisy fart during a quieter moment of the band’s set.

In a viral clip shared by Twitter user DispoZalen, the moment occurred while Vessel was performing the band’s This Place Will Become Your Tomb highlight, Atlantic, solo on the keyboard.

The video was captured by an audience member right at the front of the Metro Theatre stage. The fart was audible, and with fans in the crowd immediately laughing, Vessel’s composure is stunning to behold. You can check out the footage below.

Since their formation in 2016, Sleep Token have become one of the most buzzed-about bands in rock and metal at the moment, which bodes well for them as they release their new album, Take Me Back To Eden, later this month.

Take Me Back To Eden will be released on Friday, 19 May. The album comprises 12 tracks and runs for 63 minutes; the previously released tracks ChokeholdThe SummoningGraniteAqua Regia, Vore, and the new single, the poppier DYWTYLM, are on the tracklist.

Like all things Sleep Token, the album was announced without fanfare on social media. The band simply posted, "Take Me Back To Eden May 19th," followed by a teaser to their fifth new single, Vore, and the command to "Worship".

Take Me To Eden will be released on multiple vinyl variants, including pale gold/white, silver, black, pink, and gold vinyl, with a CD also available. The option to buy vinyl bundles is also there, with t-shirts, long sleeves and hoodies for sale. You can even buy yourself a skate deck. Pre-order the album from the Australian store here.
