Skillet's Aus Tour Expands With Sydney Venue Upgrade

Just weeks after tour promoters The Phoenix and Metropolis Touring announced Skillet’s 2024 Australian tour, they’ve had to upgrade the Sydney venue from the Metro Theatre to the Enmore Theatre due to phenomenal demand.

Skillet, an American Christian rock band, haven’t toured Australia since 2018. They’re known for their multi-platinum hits Monster, Hero, Awake & Alive and Feel Invincible, while their albums Awake and Comatose are Double Platinum and Platinum certified albums, respectively, and Rise and Unleashed were certified Gold in June 2020 by the RIAA.

According to tour promoters, Skillet’s Metro Theatre show sold out in record time. All tickets bought for the Metro are valid for the band’s upgraded concert at the Enmore Theatre – you can go here for the new allocation of tickets.

Metropolis Touring note that there will be no further upgrades on this tour, so the venue won't be changed when Perth’s Astor Theatre sells out – only 260 tickets remain.

With the amended tour information, Skillet will now perform at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, 4 April, followed by Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Hotel on Friday, 5 April, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Sunday, 7 April, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Monday, 8 April, and wraps up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday, 10 April.

Skillet are touring in support of their 2022 eleventh album, Dominion: Day Of Destiny. The band said about today’s venue upgrade announcement on social media, “Updated the venue in Sydney so we can rock with even more of you 🤘🏼💥! See you soon!”
