New Zealand outfit The Phoenix Foundation have offered up another stunning single in the form of Hounds Of Hell.

Premiering today via The Music and following on from Tranquility earlier this year, Hounds Of Hell is another instant pop gem and features Nadia Reid.

"I can’t believe we got Nadia on this! I’m a big fan. Her voice carries such authority. It’s not often a Phoenix Foundation song stems from a harpsichord motif but that’s what happened here,” vocalist Samuel Scott told The Music.

“Lyrically I am talking about a love so true it could survive the impending doom of climate change. Really fun stuff like that. And it has lots of references to Danté’s Inferno because I’m a really pretentious twat."

Since the release of Give Up Your Dreams in 2015, The Phoenix Foundation have been quite busy, writing, recording, touring with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra AND featuring on the Hunt For The Wilderpeople soundtrack.
