Sia Drops Kylie Minogue Collab 'Dance Alone', Details New Album 'Reasonable Woman'

Sia’s awaited, rumoured single with Kylie Minogue, Dance Alone, is finally here.

Australia’s pop queens have reunited for the first time in ten years. Minogue enlisted Sia to executive produce her 2014 album, Kiss Me Once – Sia also co-wrote the song Sexercize.

Dance Alone is a pop-disco number that was previously discussed in a The Sun report. “Sia called on Kylie to work on Dance Alone, and it’s a really anthemic, dance-style track,” a source told The Sun’s Bizarre column.

They added, “They are good friends, and their voices work really well together. Dance Alone is coming out next month, but Sia allowed Kylie to play it before a show in Vegas, and the audience loved it.”

Minogue played Dance Alone over the loudspeaker on nights during her Las Vegas residency before its eventual release, with fans sharing snippets of the song on social media.

In addition to releasing Dance Alone, Sia has shared details about her first album in eight years, Reasonable Woman. The album is the follow-up to 2016’s This Is Acting and was announced in September alongside the first single, Gimme Love.

Until today, no other information was revealed – including the release date and pre-order options. Sia has announced that Reasonable Woman will be released on Friday, 3 May. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

Reasonable Woman will arrive with an abundance of features, from Kylie Minogue to Chaka Khan, Labrinth, Tierra Whack, Kaliii, and Jimmy Jolliff to Paris Hilton. On the album, Sia enlisted further collaborators, producers, co-writers and engineers, including but not limited to benny blanco, Rosalía, Jesse Shatkin, Greg Kurstin, Jim-E Stack, bülow, and Mark “Spike” Stent.
