More Sarah Silverman More Sarah Silverman

Funny lady Sarah Silverman is coming to Australia for her first ever stand-up shows down under this November/December.

The Emmy-award winning comedian will take the stage at the Sydney Opera House on Friday 30 November and will also perform at Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Saturday 8 December.

Silverman is known for her versatility in the business, ranging from her stand-up shows to film, television and as an author with the New York Times bestselling book The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption and Pee.

The New Hampshire native was nominated for an Emmy in 2009 for her turn as a fictionalised version of herself in The Sarah Silverman Program. And there was her memorable video collaboration with Matt Damon that was on the Jimmy Kimmel show a few years ago, which became a You Tube sensation.
