Rufus Wainwright Announces 2019 Australian Headline Tour

Acclaimed songwriter Rufus Wainwright has today announced he'll be returning to Aus for a headlining tour in 2019.

Wainwright, who was announced on the Melbourne Zoo Twilights concert series this morning, will kick off the tour in Adelaide on 22 February as part of the Adelaide Festival, before heading to Melbourne for the zoo appearance. 

Wainwright will then perform at the Melbourne Recital Centre and Sydney's Enmore Theatre, before closing out the tour at the Canberra Theatre Centre.

The tour will see Wainwright share his All These Poses show, which celebrates both the 20th anniversary of his debut, self-titled album and his 2001 follow-up, Poses.

Tickets for the tour go on sale from 10am (local time) on Monday 29 October, with the Melbourne Zoo shows on sale from 8am on Tuesday 30 October. Check out theGuide below for all the dates and ticket info.
