RÜFÜS DU SOL Join The Governors Ball Line-up Alongside Billie Eilish & More

RÜFÜS DU SOL have landed at a spot at this year's The Governors Ball. 

The Sydney trio will join the annual New York City festival, which runs from 24-26 September, as part of the event's 10th anniversary celebrations. 

They join the likes of Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, Orville Peck, Leon Bridges, King Princess, Ellie Goulding, Future Islands, Portugal The Man, Jamie XX, Carly Rae Jepsen and more on the line-up. 

RÜFÜS DU SOL were due to perform at the 2020 event, which was cancelled due to COVID-19, alongside fellow Aussie acts like Tame Impala, Flume and Tones & I.

Australian artists are no strangers to the Governors Ball, with acts including Tash Sultana, Flight Facilities, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Parcels and Cut Copy all featured on previous line-ups.

It's shaping up to be a big year for the Aussie group who have already sold out two huge US stadium shows in only minutes.

The local outfit are slated to perform their largest headline shows to date at LA's Banc of California Stadium this November and when tickets went on sale last week, the band moved 50,000 across two shows in minutes.
