Rival Schools Announce Complete Aus Dates

Post-hardcore 'supergroup' Rival Schools have announced the full dates for their Australian tour after previously being announced as headliners for the Poison City Weekender festival.

A side project of friends from various New York hardcore bands Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits and Youth Of Today, their debut 2001 albumUnited By Fatewould gather momentum in the years after its release and become a cornerstone of the genre. Returning in 2011 with their follow-upPedals(after touring Australia in 2009 shortly after reformation) the band are touring once again in September.

Toy Boats have been announced as the main support.

Dates are as follows:

Friday 14 September - The Zoo, Brisbane
Saturday 15 September - Poison City Weekender, Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Sunday 16 September - Enigma Bar, Adelaide
Wednesday 19 September - Annandale Hotel, Sydney
