RedHook have just released their heaviest song to date in Off With Your Head, a furious track that targets the decimation of women's rights in the US and what happens when an innocent person is wrongly accused of hurting somebody.

Produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore), Off With Your Head is a rap-metal rave banger powered by venomous lyrics.

Vocalist Emmy Mack explained, "I wrote the lyrics to 'Off With Your Head' at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed, appalled, and devastated by a number of horrifying injustices going on in the world around me. Over in the US, the overturning of Roe v. Wade robbed women and girls of the fundamental right to make informed decisions about their own bodies, the consequences of which I, along with many others, knew would be deadly and devastating."

She added a more personal note, "While in my own backyard, I watched on in horror as cancel culture was weaponised by a sick person with a cruel vendetta to destroy an innocent woman I loved and admired. I felt sick with anger, and powerless to do anything about it, so I poured everything I had into this song." Listen to Off With Your Head below.

Off With Your Head will feature on RedHook's upcoming debut album, Postcards From A Living Hell, due for release on Friday, 21 April. Pre-order the album here.

In November, the Sydney outfit released their festival-ready banger, Soju featuring Perth indie rockers Sly Withers. Soju appears on RedHook's album, as does Off With Your Head. Previously released singles SAY and Jabberwocky will also feature on the record.
