More Puscifer More Puscifer

Another of Maynard James Keenan's non-Tool bands, Puscifer, have been hotly tipped as one of the bands to be added to the Soundwave line up for a number of months now, and this afternoon it looked like it was all signed, sealed and delivered as the band's Carina Round tweeted confirmation that the band would be here soon.

“See you soon Australia with Puscifer,” Round tweeted.

That tweet has now been deleted and replaced with this one, denying any confirmation of the band touring Australian any time soon.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>JK. No Australia. Prankster me.</p>&mdash; Carina Round (@carinaround) <a href="https://twitter.com/carinaround/status/238187730721456128" data-datetime="2012-08-22T08:15:54+00:00">August 22, 2012</a></blockquote>

But given that the official Puscifer twitter account said on August 8 that the band were “confirmed” for Soundwave, it seems a little suspicious that Round has retracted her comments so quickly.

Keenan is already be on the festival bill with his band A Perfect Circle.
