More Hanni El Khatib More Hanni El Khatib

Dan Auerbach has been very busy of late. Sure he plays in The Black Keys, one of the world's most popular rock bands, but on top of that he has been proving his considerable skills as a producer for a number of different artists. The latest of these is Los Angeles rocker Hanni El Khatib and we're streaming the result - his second LP, Head In The Dirt in full all wekk.

Hanni El Khatib first came to our attention with the release of his Will The Guns Come Out debut back in 2011; a record that showed a very promising up and coming creative artist and, on first listen, it sounds like his vision might be more fully realised onthis latest LP.

Our reviewer certainly enjoyed the record, stating that "not a second on this record is wasted, nor a tune left in as filler. In half an hour, Khatib evokes primal emotions in listeners" and "it is abundantly clear that Khatib knows his music history, and how to use it to create something new and exhilarating with that appreciation."

Listen to it here, all week, free of charge, before its release through Inertia this Friday.
