Police Rule Out 'Criminal Suspicion' Following Death Of Avicii

Police have ruled out "criminal suspicion" following the death of Avicii who was found dead on Friday while vacationing in Muscat. 

As CNN reports, Royal Oman Police have given an update on their investigations. 

"Two postmortems were carried out… and we can confirm that there is no criminal suspicion in the death," police said.

A cause of death of the Swedish DJ is yet to be released.

It comes after a number of figures in the music industry paid their respects to the late producer, including Madonna and Calvin Harris. 

The Dom Tower in Utrecht also paid tribute by playing three of his songs through the church bells — Wake Me Up, Without You and Hey Brother.
