LV
These musically-unpredictable Brits have proved their stylistic chops by running the gamut from dub, electronic, soul and urban beats and combining it into an exciting and groovy live performance. Their sophomore LP, Sebenza, features a variety of collaborations with South African MCs, laying joints over the album's fusion of hip-hop grit and worldbeat.

EVENINGS
His mum calls him Nathan Broaddus, he's 22 year-old Virginia native and he's visiting Australia for the first time to bring his lush and dreamlike mix of shoegaze, ambient and hip-hop to the OutsideIn stage. With a series of acclaimed EPs under his belt, a mysterious and secretive persona and a nostalgic and affecting sound, his live Australian debut is not to be missed.

HOLY BALM
This Sydney trio have been buzzing on Sydney's underground scene for some time now. They have just released their long-awaited debut Not Not Fun, built on equal parts pop hooks, glitched-out drums, squelchy analogue synths and summery nostalgia. Having built a reputation in their hometown's live scene as an intimidatingly good live act, you'd be a fool to miss out on Holy Balm's OutsideIn set.

FISHING
Fishing are a couple of hard-gigging Blue Mountains kids with a difference and previously made up two-thirds of We Say Bamboulée. They pack an aquatic, beat-driven sound that keeps the groove and hooks in the forefront for maxium toe-tappingness and booty-shakingness. Eclectic enough to have supported the likes of SBTRKT, Cloud Control, Oliver Tank, Jonathon Boulet and Jinja Safari, the boys are also prolific; with a swag of remixes, four digital releases and a 7”already under their belt, they are gearing up for the main game; a big release later in 2012.

BON CHAT, BON RAT
Bon Chat, Bon Rat combine quirky pop hooks with the glitched-out weirdness of IDM. Synthesizers and vocals collide with looping guitars and stuttering rhythms to create a weird and wonderful live sound that is greater than the sum of its parts. Having honed their bold and innovative sound with releases on Future Classic and a number of outstanding gigs on Sydney's live circuit, this Sydney trio are not to be missed.

GUERRE
Guerre, aka Lavurn Lee, takes the core of rhythm and blues and binds it to minimalist electronic, layering soulful vocals over twisting synths and attenuated beats. He'll be appearing at OutsideIn having completed an tour of Europe in 2011.
