Of course, Olivia Rodrigo was writing songs at just five years old. The good 4 u singer has unveiled her Christmas song, The Bels, which she wrote as a child and is available to hear on her website. The track isn't on streaming services yet.

The Bels was sent to fans who subscribed to Rodrigo's newsletter and came with a sweet Christmas message. "Hi guys!!! Hope everyone is doing well! I miss you guys! It's been getting cold in L.A. [and] things are slowing down for the holidays," she wrote, per People

"I put my little silver Christmas tree up in my living room [and] it makes me super happy. I'm so excited for the new year [and] everything that's in store! I hope you guys have a holiday season filled with love [and] relaxation. Thinking of you always! All my love, Liv."

We're not sure when Rodrigo recorded The Bels, but the lyrics and spelling were certainly penned by a young child, as this line makes clear: "Red and green is the Christmas queen/ Make the holidays special to me/ Oh, see the dancing gingerbread dance in your head/ Wait, wait, wait for the bells to ring there".

Rodrigo recently teased fans by announcing upcoming new music to listeners who had the singer on their Spotify Wrapped. "I just wanted to say thank you so much for listening to my music this year," she said in the video. "I really, truly couldn't be more grateful, and I am so excited for next year, and all of the new things and new music that 2023 will bring."

In February, the Driver's License singer also told Billboard that her second album is already in the works. "I have a title for my next album and a few songs. It’s really exciting to think about the next world that’s coming up for me. I just love writing songs. I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself. [I want to] just sort of explore and have fun right now," she remarked.

"I remember hearing Alanis for the first time when I was about 13." "I was in the car with my parents when Jagged Little Pill came on. I heard Perfect, I was like, 'Oh, my God… You can write songs like that?' I just looked at music and songwriting in a completely different way."
