More Nothing But Thieves More Nothing But Thieves

Nothing But Thieves have unveiled a headline tour alongside already-announced performances at Groovin The Moo Festival, that will have them touring around Australia through April and May of this year.

The headline tour will start in Brisbane, at Fortitude Music Hall before moving on to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Groovin the Moo performances will be dispersed throughout, allowing the band to cover heaps of ground and get to fans near and far. More info on dates will be listed below.

Alongside their massive tour announcement, Nothing But Thieves have also unveiled their first single, Welcome to the DCC, since their 2021 album Moral Panic. It comes ahead of their fourth album Dead Club City.

Confident and punchy, the new single ushers in a new era for the English alt-rock band. Filled with 80's beats, a funky edge and soaring choruses, fans will be in for a treat if this new single reflects the soundscape of the new record.

Last in Australia in 2019, their tour was said to be one of their best with Gavin de Almeida reviewing them for The Music.

"Conor Mason's soaring vocals filled the room right from the start. Decked out in denim overalls, he had plenty of swagger on show, turning the mic to the audience very early in the piece – something he could only do with the confidence of knowing their fanbase would know the words. The band had a presence about them that is hard to fake - something that comes from killing it in front of many crowds, time after time."

Presale for their 2023 tour will be available 17th March 2023, 9:00 am local time. General ticket sales go live on Tuesday 21 March, 12:00 pm local time. Purchase them here
