Brisbane disco soul outfit Buttercats are here to offer you a Monday pick-me-up in the form of a very nice collaboration.
The band has enlisted Sydney based artist Ngaiire for a killer cover of Dru Hill’s How Deep Is Your Love.
“Collaborating with Ngaiire on a cover of this banger was so much fun, and was a soothing remedy for COVID cancelling our gig supporting her early this year. Ngaiire is a queen!” Buttercats said.
Ngaiire added: “It's my birthday week and there's a pandemic so I can do whatever I want ok!
“This one goes out to all the ‘90z Rush Hour Dru Hill kids. At the start of COVID we were supposed to go on tour and Buttercats were meant to support us in Brisbane.
“To this day I haven't met them in the flesh yet but we decided to do something fun cuz nows the time not to be taking yourself too seriously. Have some joy Victoria fam. My love for you is Dru Hill deep.”
