Next Wednesday (31 May), Yellowcard will release their new single, Childhood Eyes, from the EP of the same name coming on Friday, 7 July. You can pre-save the single here.

Childhood Eyes was executive produced and mixed by Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Disturbed) and will be distributed by Equal Vision Records. The independent record label based out of Albany, NY welcomed Yellowcard to the Equal Vision Records family earlier this morning (25 May).

The EP will also feature special guests Vic Fuentes from Pierce The Veil, and Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba. “What began as a single show in Chicago last year has evolved into so much more,” Yellowcard wrote on Facebook overnight. “We can finally share with you that our new EP, ‘Childhood Eyes’ (executive produced and mixed by Neal Avron) will release on Equal Vision Records July 7, 2023.

“We feel like these 5 songs represent the Yellowcard sound that fans know and love in the best possible way. We are so honored [sic] to be partnering with Equal Vision for this new chapter of our career.

"We are also excited to share with you that Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil and Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional joined us for some amazing guest vocals on the EP. Looking forward to having this new music out in the world and as always, thank you for listening.”

In February 2024, Yellowcard will headline the Bahamas-bound cruise ship music festival, Emo’s Not Dead. They’ll be joined by Story Of The Year, August Burns Red, Mayday Parade, and many more.

Emo’s Not Dead founder Matt Cutshall (aka Your Broken Hero) promises “a melancholic summer experience like no other”. In a press release, Cutshall added, “We’ll be moshing all day, screaming all night while we brush shoulders with emo legends on the sea of tears! Trust us when we say, you’ll be down bad if you miss this one!”
