More Acts Added To Rottofest 2016

After unveiling a smashing first artist announcement last month, Rottofest has expanded the island party’s line-up to include sketch comedy trio Aunty Donna and local legends Rory Lowe and Tomas Ford.

They’ll join The Jezabels, Alex Lahey, Steve Hughes, Rhys Nicholson and more on Rottnest Island on Sept 17.

All three acts are no stranger to internet fame, with Aunty Donna racking up a massive 113 thousand subscribes on YouTube, Lowe going viral over a Pokemon Go prank in June and Ford developing a solid Malaysian fanbase in recent months.

The new artist additions also come with the announcement of Australia’s Funniest Shorts setting up at the festival, with a series of sketches under three minutes and short films under 10 minutes screening at the event.

First release tickets are sold out, but second release and a number of different music, gala and other passes are on offer via the festival’s website.
