After a month or so of posting nothing but links to soft porn, the Facebook page for Minor Threat has now been taken under control by Discord Records.

After a month or so of posting nothing but links to soft porn, the Facebook page for Minor Threat has now been taken under control by Discord Records.

Late last month, an article on Noisey brought attention to the page's tendency for posting NSFW soft-core porn links, as well as links to websites that just post memes and lists about the female body (all of which have now been deleted) to the page's 140K followers.

A brief post from a member at Discord cleared things up earlier today.

"Hello,

Don't miss a beat with our FREE daily newsletter

This is now the official Facebook page for the band Minor Threat. From this point forward, the account will be moderated by the staff at Dischord Records and will post only information and images relevant to the group and its music.

Thanks,

Dischord"

While it's unclear whether or not the band know of the pages existence (the band did disband in 1983, after all), if they were running it themselves for a chuckle, run by some random fan, or by someone with too much time on their hands is unclear, though that last one may go without saying. Anyway, balance to the world has been restored.
