The Ultravox frontman is performing shows this April

Renowned Scottish singer-songwriter Midge Ure has announced a run of Australian solo shows.

The musician is probably best known for being the frontman of Ultravox, co-writing landmark charity single Do They Know It's Christmas?, as well as releasing many of his own hits, including If I Was. Ure also enjoyed success as a member of several other bands in the '70s and '80s, including Thin Lizzy and Visage.

It's been a couple of years since he played on Australian soil and this new tour will see Ure play in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle this April. Tickets are available now and you can catch the details in theGuide and The Music App.
