Metric Cancel Perth Show, Again

Canadian new-wavers Metric have cancelled their upcoming Perth show, a year and a half since they pulled the plug on another show in the WA capital.

Due to "logistical challenges" that could hinder getting the band and their production from the Philippines to Australia, they've cancelled their gig at Metro City this Saturday 7 December. Perth ticketholders will be fully refunded - they are advised to contact the point of purchase or if bought online, they will be automatically refunded.

Perth fans will no doubt be disappointed by the cancellation, considering a similar scenario occurred last July when the band were out here for a run of dates. Their 2012 Capitol cancellation was put down to "circumstances outside of their control".

The remaining shows are scheduled to go ahead as planned.
