Driving rhythm, heavy as balls, aggressive, absolutely crushingly heavy. Yep, it's Meshuggah, alright.

More Meshuggah More Meshuggah

Meshuggah have dropped the next cut from their forthcoming album 'Immutable'. And Yep, it's definitely Meshuggah. The new track is called 'Light The Shortening Fuse' and it's a hectic slice of marching djent-metal that can ONLY be Meshuggah. It dropped today from the record, out on April 1 through Atomic Fire Records.

The press release hypes the hell out of the record, stating that "Fans should prepare themselves for the unexpected."

It's been six years since The Violent Sleep Of Reason - and Immutable is the band's NINTH album. Immutable was recorded at Sweetspot Studios in Halmstad (Sweden), mixed by Rickard Bengtsson & Staffan Karlsson and mastered by multiple Grammy award winner Vlado Meller (Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System Of A Down). Visionary artist Luminokaya once again created the stunning cover artwork.
