Members Of Chaser Team Return To Host 2016 Screen Music Awards

It's time once again to gear up to APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild Of Screen Composers' annual Screen Music Awards. They've announced details for the event today, namely that The Chaser comics Chris Taylor and Andrew Hansen will be back for their fifth time hosting the Awards.

It's their first time hosting since 2013 but they're always received fondly; since their time on The Chaser's War On Everything, the duo have been working on satirical series In Conversation With Lionel Corn. 

The 2016 Screen Music Awards will be held on 8 November at Sydney's City Recital Hall and will once again give recognition to the unsung musical heroes of the silver screen — the composers of documentaries, short films, advertising and feature film scores.

APRA AMCOS's Brett Cottle says, "Our members are doing fantastic work in the film and television space, and the Screen Music Awards highlight and honour their talent and success."
