April 2022 sees the return of the King.

More Marcus King More Marcus King

After recently announcing a whole bunch of rescheduled shows for international artists that were meant to be touring for this year's Bluesfest, a new round of dates has been announced for the Marcus King Band.

You can now find him and his band playing in Sydney and Melbourne in April 2022.

A 24-year-old guitar phenomenon and innovative songwriter, Marcus King can simultaneously switch from swaggering rock to supersonic soul, having written songs and performing onstage for half his lifetime, learning guitar around age four and having played professionally since he was 11. A fourth-generation musician, King has followed in his family’s footsteps, as his grandfather was a country guitarist, and his father continues to perform live.

Bluesfest Touring also issued an update on further acts that they were looking to reschedule into 2022.

In regards to LP, Bluesfest Touring stated they are "sad to advise that due to the ongoing COVID challenges for touring, the LP tour of Australia has had to be cancelled and refunds are now occurring. LP hopes to tour Australia as soon as she can, and we hope to present her at Bluesfest and on tour, however at this time there isn’t a future tour with dates planned... stay tuned".

Concerning the final tour they are yet to reschedule, Morcheeba, they have advised there "will be an update on the Morcheeba tour very soon – please hold on to your tickets".
