Lostprophets' Frontman Changes Plea In Infant Rape Case To Guilty

Former frontman for Welsh band Lostprophets, Ian Watkins has changed his plea to guilty in the infant rape case he's been embroiled in since late 2012.

According to BBC News, the musician made the change just prior to appearing at the Cardiff Crown Court in Wales. He has now pleaded guilty to 13 sexual offences, including two counts of attempting to rape an 11 month-old.The two women also on similar charges in the case have changed their pleas to guilty.

Watkins initially pleaded not guilty in June to the 23 charges pertaining to the rape of an infant and the possession, making and distribution of indecent images of children.

He is due to be sentenced on Wednesday 18 December.
