The ex-partner of disgraced former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has reportedly been cleared of all charges of child sex offences.

According to the BBC, Watkins’ partner at the time of the offences, Joanne Mjadzelics, was cleared of all charges by a jury at Cardiff Crown Court yesterday after denying the seven charges.

Mjadzelics claimed her involvement was in an effort to expose the acts of Watkins, and on several occasions went to the authorities before the incidents became public.

Watkins was arrested at the end of 2012 and was sentenced to 35 years in jail at the start of 2014 after pleading guilt to 13 sex offences, including charges of infant rape.
