Sydney's famous Selina's will launch a new live music series starting this week.

Iconic Sydney live music venue Selina's will be reopening its doors for a new live series starting this week.

After being closed indefinitely due to the devastation caused by the COVID-19 lockdowns, the famous Coogee Bay venue - which has previously hosted shows from the likes of Nirvana, INXS and Midnight Oil - will launch the new series this Friday night, starting with local dance favourites Sneaky Sound System.

"Selina’s is one of Sydney’s most iconic live music venues..." Selina's Managing Director Christopher Cheung told The Music.

"We’re looking forward to re-opening the doors of Selina’s.

"The impact of COVID has given us a great opportunity to create an experience that our local community and musicians alike are so exciting to be a part of.”

Selina's made a successful comeback in 2016 after being closed for over a year.
