Kylesa Postpone Australian Tour

Savannah, Georgia sludge-psych band Kylesa have had to postpone their forthcoming Australian tour, it has been announced this morning, with the pin being pulled just one day before the tour was set to commence.

The only reason given for the cancellation at this stage is “unforeseen circumstances”, but promoters Heathen Skulls have assured fans of the band that they will be back in March/April of 2014 and say that these new dates will be announced on Monday. Tickets purchased for the December shows will be valid for the new dates.

The band were set to start the tour in Perth tomorrow night. The following shows have been cancelled.

Saturday 7 December – The Rosemount Hotel, Perth
Sunday 8 December – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Monday 9 December – The Barwon Club, Geelong
Tuesday 10 December – Howler, Melbourne
Wednesday 11 December– The ANU Bar, Canberra
Thursday 12 December – The Hi-Fi, Sydney
Friday 13 December – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane
