Even better than before.

Contemporary indie-pop guitarist and singer Kate Martin has announced she will play launch shows for her latest single Kintsukuroi at Brighton Up Bar in Sydney in May and Melbourne's The Workers Club this June.

The track, which has been released with its own film clip, is the first taste from her upcoming LP Set My Life To Fire, mixing her signature finger-picking style with Tabla percussion and textures within multi-layered guitar loops.

The name Kintsukuroi comes from the Japanese art form of repairing shattered ceramics with gold to create something more beautiful for having been broken, an ideology that saturates the 24-year-old's surprisingly timeless creation.
