Isabella "Izzi" Manfredi has today been announced as the 2019 recipient of the Mushroom Music Publishing Recording Grant.

Established in 2013 to assist artists with funding their recordings, the $10,000 grant will go towards The Preatures singer's forthcoming debut album.

"The last two years for the band and I have been marked so much by change, loss, and the desire to evolve," Manfredi said.

"Mushroom have supported me personally through a huge evolution in my writing. I am just so grateful for this grant and the opportunity to make my own record."

Mushroom's Head of A&R and Creative Erol Yurdagul added, “Izzi is an exceptionally talented and diverse songwriter with an important point of view to share.

"We have loved being on this ride with her and assisting in exploring her song writing. We can’t wait to hear the record she makes.”
